CLEANAWAY
WCQ has constructed the building in primarily Colorbond and structural steel. The brief was explicit on the need to be open to fulfill the company’s requirements. The construction required WCQ to become aware of some very specific fit out requirements and the timing of programming of these in the construction timeline.
The Cleanaway Materials Recovery Centre is an important facility built for the initiation of the company’s contract for recycling with Fraser Coast Regional Council. It needed to be built to exacting specifications and with the optimal work flow and operational capacity in what is a finely tuned process. An approximately 1600 square meters building, it includes offices; a custom designed recycling collection pit and waste sorting and a weighbridge.
